Behind The Lens

Location

Taken whilst walking around the maze of streets that is the centre of York

Time

8:23 pm 28th April 2016 after a rain shower on a walk after our 4th anniversary meal

Lighting

The sky provided the perfect lighting for the picture with rain clouds and the setting sun giving just the right light.

Equipment

Nikon D3200 VR 18-55 kit lens at 55mm, aperture f/5.6, shutter speed 1/15s, ISO 720.

Inspiration

I just happened to pass The Shambles at the perfect time and grabbed my camera from my bag.

Editing

I converted the photo into black and white using lightroom as I felt it looked more atmospheric compared to the original.

In my camera bag

I only carry around my Nikon D3200 body, the VR 18-55 kit lens, Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Lens and Tamron AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 Lens.
