I was taking photos outside a grocery store. The spring flowers in my friend's garden are gone. Had my camera with me, and took some pictures of some very pretty flowers. The many layers of petals give the flower shadows and soft touch.

I took this picture at a local grocery store.Time
I took this photo in afternoon. But the flowers were under the cover of outside roof.Lighting
We were having a drought and the only flowers were at the local grocery store. While my husband did the shopping, I took pictures of the flowers.Equipment
I used a Canon 70D with a Sigma 18-70 macro lens.Inspiration
I loved the way the flowers looked. The flowers were bright, colorful and big. There wasn't any sun on them so I did 't have to worry about shadows or wash out colors from the sun.Editing
All I did was crop the photo. I didn't think it needed anything else.In my camera bag
Camera, all purpose lens, filters, extra batteries and memory. I also carry lens wipes.Feedback
In the spring the best places for flowers that have already bloomed are flower hothouses, and stores. The flower with blossoms will sell faster than the flower without blossoms. I try to keep things simply and clean. I don't like photo with a lot of noise in it. Keep the picture simple, with the right light, and always take your camera with you were ever you go... I have taking a lot photos that see when I drive in the car.
