Location
I took this photo of The River Tone bridge in Taunton which was opened on the 27th September 2011, It won the 2012 British Construction Industry Award for civil engineering projects and so i thought it would be a good subject matter. Also i had in mind that a great sunset would create fabulous reflections in the river. The Lady silhouette was a bonus.Time
If i remember correctly it was taken in the summertime at dusk.Lighting
I just liked the reflections on the river and the silhouette on the bridge.Equipment
No flash, using my Nikon D7100 and tripod with an ISO of 100, i also used a remote trigger to steady the shot.Inspiration
A new location with a new bridge and the beautiful sunset allowed me to capture this shot.Editing
Raw file i do with Lightroom and maybe a touch in Photoshop to finish the edit.In my camera bag
Just my Nikon D7100 with a 18 - 50mm lens and also a 135mm manual focus lens and a tripod, sometimes i might take out ND filters and a Polarising filter.Feedback
I find that you can visit a location multiple times and not get that perfect photo so perseverance is key. A lot of luck can be helpful too, but i do check regularly a weather App to see the conditions available over say a three day period. Also scout a location for your type of photo be it landscape or say street photography.
