Perhaps a little more subtle than Fire in the Pond, this lotus shot was heavily manipulated to achieve the blend of colors and effects you see here. Most of the color originated from the photo itself, in hues that weren't as visible until stretched and pulled to bring them out, but I also added some color here and there to make this shot come to life. My goal with the Painterly Manipulations shots was to make them have a sense of life and movement that reflected the feel of the water around the plants.
