Location
This photo was taken on a country road just outside of town in Walla Walla, Washington.Time
I shot this about 5PM, right when it looked like it was about to storm.Lighting
The lighting that day was amazing. On one side there were hardly any clouds and the sun was setting, while on this side, there were storm clouds and barely any sun. I thought it was going to start down pouring at any time, but surprisingly, the clouds were just teasing.Equipment
This was shot with my trusty Nikon D3300 and my 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I have moments when I will set my camera down for a month or so because I'm working more hours at my "day job", or my kids need to be at their practices, etc. That day, I just needed to get out and photograph literally anything I could find.Editing
I did a little bit of processing, I made the greens a little bit greener, and the clouds slightly darker. In my camera bag
I always have my 18-55mm and 55-300mm lenses with me. Because I am still pretty new in the world of photography, I like to have these two with me constantly just in case.Feedback
The only advice I have is to be patient and have fun. The weather does it's own thing, take multiple shots from multiple angles.
