This giraffe was eye to eye with me! The Brevard Zoo has a platform that they come up to to feed, and I fed her some lettuce. I was fascinated by the detail of her ears- you can see the veins, and wrinkles of her face, and all the little hairs...just marvelous! What a sensational animal!
