One of the flashiest bees I've come across was this sweat bee, (measuring only about a quarter of an inch), as it collects pollen and nectar for it's nest. These type of bees only nest in the ground. I took this shot with my Nikon D3200, using my 18-55mm lens with the Raynox 250 macro conversion lens. Very little post processing done.
