The fountain itself long gone, this face (man or lion?) rests, hidden behind a bench at the top of a double staircase in a corner of the park many don't even know of because it is, itself, hidden by hedge and fence across the street from the park main.
UPDATE: Looking at the face, you can see a circular crack around the face (under the hairline, down the cheeks to above the spigot): This section has now broken completely off leaving only a spigot sticking out the bottom of a toupeed crater. This may well be the last photo ever taken of the Lion-Man of Lytton Park.
- Three years later, now, this face is gone, never to be seen again, leaving only a copper spigot sticking out of the spot where this face used to be.
