This photo was taken in my apartment: After picking up a used IKEA lamp in the Large Item Garbage Area of the small, mid-Toronto apartment that I share with my eldest daughter (and occasionally the younger), finding and rearranging a new space for it, I realized that it doesn't take standard-size bulbs. Since the only bulbs on hand that fit the lamp's sockets were the ones from an old Santa-lamp, I went with green - the red ones gave my home the aura of an evil genius' lair (don't ask!). My daughters both hated the lamp, and so, alas, this photo is all that remains of a wonderful accent piece. The photo itself was taken, slightly off-centre, straight down through the top providing a tunnel-feel with something traveling through it.Time
Not really sure, but almost certainly either after dark or before light (kinda depends on whether you've gone to bed yet or not, eh?). Either that or I had the black-out drapes closed: Any light-source other than the green bulbs would have ruined it completely.Lighting
Nothing that I haven't already mentioned, thanks.Equipment
Same as always, a simple, $80 (at the time of purchase, at least), Kodak easyshare.Inspiration
I just saw it and took it.Editing
None whatsoever; I refuse to process AT ALL other than to use the up-to-8x zoom.In my camera bag
As I say, just the camera, folks, just the camera.Feedback
If you see something, especially if it's in any way odd, ALLOW your imagination to tell you its story, even if it doesn't make particular sense at the time. And capture it with your camera. If you're lucky the story and the photo will match up as though they were MEANT to be together and give you something truly special.
