I took this photo, while on the Seattle Ferry, Wenatchee. I was at Coleman Dock in Seattle Washington. The picture includes images of Pier 69, the Ferris Wheel, Seattle Space Needle, downtown Seattle and the ferry, Tacoma in Seattle. This is one of my favorite places take pictures.Time
It was a brisk, early, spring afternoon on March 19, 2014, around 15:00 in Seattle, WA.. The sun was getting low in the sky, and as i looked up at the view, I was overwhelmed by the sight. I didn't have my camera with me on this trip, so I grabbed my phone.Lighting
As much as I loved the original picture, i wanted it to look vintage. So I used a filter.Equipment
Believe it or not, I didn't have my camera with me, so i grabbed my iPhone 5. Which was the phone i had at the time. Took a couple pictures, and this was the result.Inspiration
The city can be so amazing. Especially when the lights for evening first start to appear. When I saw the Space Needle, the Ferris Wheel, the Pier, and Ferry, all together in one shot, my heart skipped a beat, and I had to capture it with whatever I had.Editing
I did not do any post processingIn my camera bag
I have a canon dslr. i have a variety of lenses, flashes,and filters.Feedback
Patience, Patience, Patience, Patience, and some more patience. I have waited hours for the right shot at the beach. Then, sometimes, it jumps up and smacks you in the face. I love photographing nature. I also love the unexpected shots of people caught unaware of the lens. All I can really say is this, when your heart skips a beat, or, whatever you want to shoot calls to you, take the shot. Because once the moment is gone, its gone.
