Possibly the most interesting shot I have seen of the Eiffel Tower! Truly a great capture and wonderful composition.

Many thanks Fergal, image was taken after many hours atop the tower, enshrouded in mist. I was walking back to my accomodation when I looked up through the trees and saw the steel latticework nicely framed through the leaves in the dim light. A lucky moment!.

Location
In Paris, France.Time
Night. I spent an afternoon and an evening atop the Eiffel Tower, enjoying sunset over Paris (after a day wandering around the city and along the River Seine).Lighting
I descended the Eiffel Tower late evening into a heavy mist, which enshrouded the top of the tower. I liked the effect leaves and branches of trees in a nearby park created as they silhouetted against the illuminated, mist-encircled tower.Equipment
Just a Canon camera.Inspiration
I wanted to take an iconic photo of a structure that I believe is one of the most beautiful and incredible buildings in the world.Editing
No.In my camera bag
I normally carry two camera bodies, a flash unit, and three lenses ranging from a 16-85, 24-70, 70-200.Feedback
I carry my camera everywhere I go, from overseas travel to a walk around the neighbourhood, and some of the better photos I've taken have occurred when a dynamic situation or an interesting subject has unexpectedly presented itself.
