While visiting Bastillo San Fillipe, Cartagena, Columbia, these turkey vultures were very cooperative in using the rising thermal air currents, which formed when the land breezes were driven vertically by the fortress topped highest hill in the city. Used both eyes open to keep soaring birds in frame, right eye was glued to viewfinder, while left wide angle swept for rising birds, when found right eye and lens were drawn automatically and rapidly to developing scene.
