Location
I took this photo at a local park near where I live here in Idaho.Time
It was about mid morning around 9 AM or so.Lighting
The sky was partially overcast with some light flurries at the time. This gave the trees in the background, as well as the sky, a soft appearance.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS 60D, 44 mm, ISO 100, at 1/60 sec, with a tripod.Inspiration
I enjoy taking photos for close relatives and loved ones. I have a sister who told me she was really into photos of trees, so I saw this opportunity while taking a stroll through my local park.Editing
I do most of my postprocessing using light room. With this photo I actually didn't tweak very much past increasing the vibrance, clarity, and the contrast. Post processing was somewhat minimal. In my camera bag
Of course I have my camera, my EOS 60 D, most of the time using an 18 to 55 mm lens. That seems to work best for me for most of my photography. The only other thing that I really use most of the time is a tripod, which can make all the difference in the world.Feedback
Before taking a photo, I visualize what I want it to look like, then proceed.
