One of the most beautiful beaches over the El Salvador coast on the Pacific Ocean. The end of the sunset shows an incredible gamut of colors. The environment invites you to stay on the beach even hours after the sunset.

I took this photo in a beautiful beach in El Salvador Central America : El Balsamar ( balsam by extension, in English could be a place for relaxing )Time
Was taken, obviously, at one of my favorites time of the day: sunset.Lighting
Few hours before this time of the day, it was a big summer storm, that lasted for about an hour. Moments before this shot, I noticed the sky was so clear and the clouds were very high and running out. The Sun started to get bigger and bright-orange. I did wait a little longer until some of the clouds cleaned the view. Of course I did take more than one shot being this one the best for me. This is a very special place since there's no many people because is a very private place, a private club. Still some kids playing before the night takes over... which fill the scene with silhouettes at the foreground along with the palms and trees.Equipment
The camera was a Sony SLT-A57, aperture 5.6, ISO 100, f18/1. No tripod but sit on a table. No flash.Inspiration
What inspired me to take this photo were the colors, the peace of the place and the fact I was lucky enough being at the right moment when the Sun and the sky were drawing a beautiful scene from my point of view.Editing
Almost nothing. Just a little adjust of the contrast. I really don't like to do much of post-processing.In my camera bag
Along with the camera I carry one zoom lens 24-105 mm, one normal 50 mm f/1.2. Also one portrait lens like 85 mm f/2.8. One tripod, one flash and diffuser. Two extra filters: ND and polarizer.Feedback
Based on my experience the best advice is anticipate and visualize situations like this. Be patient. Compose in your mind and always try! Do not be fooled by the equipment issues. Be simple as your images.
