Behind The Lens

Location

This was shot at Le Mont St. Michel, Normandy, France.

Time

It was shot at twilight in July, so approx 10pm.

Lighting

The light was natural. I caught the sky just after the sun set and the lights were coming up on the subject.

Equipment

I used a tripod mounted Nikon D810 with a NIkkor 24-70mm lens. No filter.

Inspiration

I always wanted to shoot Le Mont St. Michel. So I spent a couple of days there in July shooting it a various times of the day during the month of July.

Editing

Yes, there is post processing involved, some sharpening and highlighting the lights and whatnot.

In my camera bag

D810, Nikon Trinity lenses, 50mm Sigma art 1.4, various polarizing and Neutral Density Filters.
