Behind The Lens

Location
This is a photo of Manarola, which is of the five cities that comprise Cinque Terra, Italy.
Time
I shot this at sunset during the month of December, so it was probably around 5pm.
Lighting
The shot is naturally lit.
Equipment
I used a Nikon D810, tripod mounted, long exposure, no flash.
Inspiration
I had been to Cinque Terre some time ago and wanted to return to capture a few beautiful images of the region.
Editing
I processed it in Lightroom from a RAW file.
In my camera bag
Typically I have my Nikon D810 along with a 14 - 24mm, 24 - 70mm, 70 - 200mm Nikkors, and I also usually carry a Sigma Art 1.4 - 50mm.
Feedback
Make use of weather apps and Photographer's Ephemeris to study the area so as to determine the best angles and light in advance and then put yourself out there and make it happen!
