I find it fitting since I have not posted a photo in over a year to post this rose. My journey has been long and extremely hard this past year as my loving father was battling cancer. My father lost his battle on October 25, 2015. And he was laid to rest with full Military Honors on November 16, 2015. I snapped this photo of a rose from one of the arrangements. My father will forever be my angel in heaven ~ I love him so!

very nice tribute. Been awhile and did not know. My wife lost her mother Feb 3rd and it was pretty hectic here December through Feb and we finally got away on a couple trips but now back.

After my father's death it has been nothing less then a nightmare. My father would be rolling in his grave if he could see the behavior of my mother and my brother. None of my father's dying wishes were kept. I now realize my father was my protector my entire life against my mother's hatred towards me. My mother has done some pretty horrible things since my father's passing enough that for my own sanity I have decided to walk away. I miss my dad every minute of every day and wish that I had just one last moment with him.
