Hello Bob, I love this kind of shot you have created, I was wondering if you would like to let me know how you did it and the others with the black background. Did you have a black 'light box' or did you use some black material to shoot them on? Cheers Trish

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my home studio, which is a bit of a jack Robinson affair anything available will do

Time

this was taken mid morning

Lighting

a very simple lighting arrangement was used a single flash bounced of the ceiling

Equipment

I used my Nikon D7100 with my Nikkor 18-140 zoom lens plus metz flashgun

Inspiration

I was indoors doing nothing getting over an injury and decided to do something to occupy the mind

Editing

just basic processing and some use of the paintbrush tool

In my camera bag

Now I have my Nikon D7100 and a 18-140 nikkor zoom plus a sigma 10-20 wide angle zoom unless i am having a leisurly stroll then i carry my panosonic TZ100

Feedback

Try and prepare yourself beforehand think about what your doing and what you want to achieve, plan experiment and shoot shoot shoot
