Location
Long the Maroochy River on the Sunshine Coast here in Queensland, we have these beautiful old boat/fishing houses. They are well photographed as there is not to many times you can drive past at sunrise or sunset and not see a photographer.Time
This was taken at Sunset during our cooler monthsLighting
There was not a lot of cloud cover so light was still quite strong for this time day, even thought the light was nice across the shed I was not able to cover with a single exposure so 5 images were taken, 3 was probably possibleEquipment
My old Silk tripod, Canon 6D, Canon 17-40 Lens, remote.Inspiration
These are quite iconic to the region so they are always enjoyable to photograph and like most places you always come away with something differentEditing
This image was blended with HDR in Lightroom, some minor dodge and burn in PhotoshopIn my camera bag
Canon 6D, 17-40, 50mm, Lee filters, CPL filters, remoteFeedback
I manually exposure images for blending via the histogram on the camera as I find I have a lot more control than allowing the camera to do it.
