Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a living room in my friend's house.

Time

I took this photo in the afternoon. We closed all the curtains and turned off any source of lights.

Lighting

The main lighting source was the fairy lights at the background. A table lamp was used for additional lighting on the side.

Equipment

I used a tripod and this was shot using Nikon D7100 on a 35mm f/1.8.

Inspiration

My friend and I came up with this idea after looking at Shihya Kowatari's photo gallery. Leaf skeletons are beautiful and we would like to have a go at it too.

Editing

It was just a simple post-processing; I only increased the contrast and played around with vibrance and saturation.

In my camera bag

My main camera is D7100 and there are two lens that I always bring wherever I go: Nikon 35mm and Tokina 11-16mm.

Feedback

Try taking this picture with different colours of fairy lights. The more colourful, the better.
