Location
This was taken in Budapest, on the staircases leading outside from King Matthias Castle inner courtyard. The stairs were completely in the dark, except this part - and everyone was just moving up and down without even glancing outside the window at this beautiful tree.Time
It was late afternoon, after we were dead tired from a whole-day stroll around the city and castle.Lighting
It certainly could have been better :DEquipment
Some Sony point-and-click camera, I do not remember anymore. I replaced it soon after with my first full-frame DSLR.Inspiration
I'm probably getting repetitive, but I have always noticed things that most other people do not. I grew up feeling forcibly small (to fit certain society standards) and less than, and after a rape attempt while in fifth grade, I also did my best to become unnoticeable. It served to "cement" my desire to turn people's attention to what they take for granted and consider less important; I also hope to do that for all the voiceless, unnoticed, or willingly ignored.Editing
No, none. It was taken with a point-and-click camera, so jpg-s don't leave much space for manipulation. In my camera bag
For the time being, my Nikon D750, Nikkor 50mm f1/8. I am trying to sell the rest and switch to a mirrorless Sony a7r.Feedback
This is, I think, best-looking when framed in symmetrical composition, which is where I made a couple of mistakes (it's hard doing it with bulk of people around you): first, I couldn't choose the time when there would be less people around (aka didn't plan the shot in advance... and sometimes that just isn't possible, anyway) and second, the framing. I could have fixed the second one in post-processing, but I left it like it is, to remind me of how far have I come since then. Learn from my mistakes :)
