I first was introduced to live painting in the streets of Mexico. We purposefully would plan our day with the goal of stopping by and seeing how a piece was developing and to visit with the artist. It is fascinating to see a composition come together before your own eyes. This photo is of one of many street artists in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Please note that my watermark is on the bottom right of the painting on the easel; it fits my humor to place it there. I have absolutely no talent when it comes to painting, and give all the credit for this painting in the making to the man who has his back to us in my photo.

This was a fun street shot and because he was standing off to the side it allowed for the really graphic outlines of his painting to show.
