Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in Singapore just outside the famous Marina Sands Bay Hotel.Time
It was little after the sunset. I had no tripod with me so i had to set my camera on the railing and use timer in order to get the sharpest image possible despite the limitations.Lighting
I think the lighting of bridge was really pretty and the colors of them changes every few seconds. I took multiple shots and the warm colors from the lighting of the bridge complimented the rest of the scene.Equipment
I had a Canon 7D with the 17-40mm lens on it. No tripod or any other equipment, just a slight touch of improvisation.Inspiration
As soon as I stood there looking at this beautiful for of architecture, I had to capture it in the most unique way possible within my photographic skills.Editing
Not a lot of post processing was done to this image. Just increased the saturation on LR and applied a noise reducing filter. In my camera bag
Let's just say that even though I pretty much continuously traveling, I definitely don't make it easy on myself. I always carry my Canon 5D Mark III along with Canon 16-35mm F4, Canon 70-200mm F2.8 II and my Manfrotto tripod which is already hard on anybody's back when hiking up mountains or walking long trails. On top of this I carry my Canon 24-70mm F2.8 when planning to shoot portraits.Feedback
Don't let the limitations stop you from trying to take photos. When I took this photo, it was pretty dark and I didn't have a tripod with me but just by setting my camera on the railing near the bridge did the job for despite the danger of dropping my camera in the river.
