Location
I have a little park nearby. It actually used to be part of a pasture where I kept my horses. Now, there are ball fields, etc. They mow paths on about 1/3 of the 80 acres and allow the wildflowers to grow in between the paths. Every season there is something of interest in this little spot. This was an early morning shot. I just was so enamored with the beauty of life : death mixed together. The end of the flower's season and the hosting of the skeleton for the spider. The dew just sat so delicately upon the webbing.Time
You know, I don't recall exactly, but it must have been fairly early to mid morning. We live in a rather humid area, so I would guess that this is morning dew that is balling on the spider webs.Lighting
Just natural light.Equipment
Sony Nex-6.Inspiration
I am always looking for the small beauty in nature. I am not much of a landscape photographer and I hate carrying a tripod. I love seeing the miniature paintings that nature creates. It is a whole world. I have nothing to do with it's creation. I am just an observer and document as I go. Many of my photos are just the things that tickle me in nature. I rarely photograph things other than this type of subject matter.Editing
not much, as far as I recall. In my camera bag
This was my Sony Nex - 6 back in the day when I had it.Feedback
I am a full time artist. I just look for the things that make me stop and wonder, or take my breath away with the beauty or complexity, or just tickle my fancy, make me smile, laugh, weep. Things that make me think...how fortunate I am to live in such a beautiful world. I think being able to appreciate our world is a daily meditation and prayer. Makes me whole.
