Early Morning at Siesta Key, Florida

Siesta Key is an 8 miles long beach, close to the city of Sarasota. It is one of Florida’s best beaches, and the pure quartz sand looks like confectioner’s sugar. Dawn and sunset are the best moments to compose wonderful images, of course, but it is hard to find a really bad time to shoot pictures at Siesta Key. The white sand, the blue water and the bright sun create interesting contrasts and light effects at any time. I used a wide-angle to compose this photo.
