Interesting story here.
This outcrop of rock sits about 40 Meters above the valley floor, I wasn't wearing the best shoes and I slipped on a rock coming back to the parking area and started to slide.
The rubber grips on my Manfrotto Tripod are what saved me from falling over the edge. I lost the rubber shoe on 2 legs of my tripod but I'm alive and now have decent hiking boots, a new tripod and a story to go along with the image.
