Location
This photo was taken ion local country park in South Wales called 'Barry Sidings.' I have shot there many times and the scenery is beautiful.Time
This was during the winter around 4pm. It gets dark around 5pm at that time of year in UK.Lighting
The lighting was extremely soft and the subject 'TG' (Thea Grace) was glowing!Equipment
I used my beloved Nikon D810 with the well known Nikon 24-70 f2.8 Handheld. No flash was used, I'm more of a natural light photographer (although i have been experimenting with some OCF lately and really loving the results)Inspiration
I had shot 'TG' twice previous to this session. We have done a Summer, Autumn and Winter session and can't wait to shoot a spring session with her. She is a photographers dream. So relaxed in front of the camera, and as you can see she is extremely photogenic. Images of Thea Grace from the other 'season sessions' can be found on my profile.Editing
There was a fair amount of post-processing done to this image. It wasn't actually snowing at the time and the background was Orange/Green (we had just hit winter). I spent roughly an hour overall, there was not much work required on skin etc so the biggest part of the edit was the Snow/Background.In my camera bag
Im primarily a Wedding Photographer and I swear by the D810! Its my 'baby' My lens's include - Sigma art 1.4, nikon 24-70 2.8, Tamron 70-200 2.8, Nikon 200mm f2 Vrii And a few others not worth mentioning!Feedback
I am 100% self taught in Camera and Post Processing. I lived and breathed photography for the last 2 years. Its my passion, my dream and i wouldn't want to do anything else! Just go out and experiment. Some things might not work but when it does, there is no better feeling for me. I can freeze time, whats your super power?
