Location
This photo has been taken at home. I love setting up still lifes and flowers and playing with different angles and trying to find new interesting ways to photograph everyday objects.Time
I can't remember exact time I took it but it was during the day time with some available light.Lighting
I used natural window light, but because it was not bright enough had to up my ISO number.Equipment
I used my Canon 7D camera and Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens,no tripod at that time.Inspiration
I absolutely love taking pictures of flowers. Sky is limit to what you can do with flowers. I take pictures of fresh flowers, of dying flowers and dried ones. In this particular picture I took the petals of several tulips and and made it look like one big flower.Editing
I only used Photoshop to enhanse the color and gave the vignette so the flower would be the main focus. In my camera bag
I have my one beloved Canon 7D, Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens, CANON EF 50mm f/1.8 lens and Canon Speedlite 430EX FlashFeedback
Be creative! Don't shoot the flowers at the same angle everybody else does. Play with it. Take pictures of flowers at different stages, everyday they look different. Dying flowers have beautiful textures. Take a lot of different pictures, because one of them could be the winning photo. Be patient and most important, love what you do!
