Location
I took this photo in Prague, Czech Republic. A friend of mine was moving out of the country and she made a bucket list of places she wanted to photograph before she left. One of the stops was the Astronomical Clock. The image is that of the lift that takes you to the top. I thought it was architecturally interesting. Always thinking of a unique way to shot something, sometimes it's just a matter of looking up.Time
This was taken in the afternoon.Lighting
An interior shot with no natural lighting. All the light is from the lift itself and also from some wall lights.Equipment
This was shot on a Sony a99, handheld while laying on the floor on my back. Needless to say we got some very interesting looks from the many tourists. Actually it was fun watching them try to see what we were seeing, and some even joined us on the ground.Inspiration
It was definitely the architecture that inspired me, as well as trying to find a unique way to shot something thousands of tourists see everyday.Editing
The only post processing was turning it into a black and white imaging using silver effects pro.In my camera bag
Always a wide angle and a long zoom.Feedback
Take your time, walk around and see it from all the angles possible.
