For the most part, Martin Lake near Marshall, Texas is not especially beautiful, particularly with this rather noisy factory disrupting the tranquility of the landscape. But once you accept the fact that man-made things, even those that contribute to the impurity of the world, have their own beauty, it becomes easier to appreciate scenes like this of the factory across the lake greeting the sun without shame.
