It's interesting how something that's normally almost invisible and very nearly intangible can become so very solid and real and almost electrifying with the right angle and the right lighting. And in the same way that a dragonfly's wings turn to gold by the light of the sun, something as gossamer as a spider web seems to become something much more powerful than you know it is when touched by the rays of the sun.
