A lucky capture. I had just put on a reverse grad ND filter to take a classic sunset shot and I noticed the camel and driver between me and the sun forming a perfect image. Taken with a Pentax K5 IIs with a Pentax 20-40 f2.8-4 Limited lens. 1-125, f8, iso 100.

A lucky capture. I had just put on a reverse grad ND filter to take a classic sunset shot and I noticed the camel and driver between me and the sun forming a perfect image. I had to act fast to get the shot because these guys don't particularly like being photographed. Two seconds later he dropped the cord and walked away, unaware that the photograph had been taken.Editing
Used Lightroom to bring out the shadows and the foreground. In my camera bag
I would normally carry two Pentax bodies; the K3ii and K5ii. Both reasonable light but sturdy, dust and water-resistant. I always have the Pentax 20-40 f2.8-4 Limited lens because it is versatile, light, and very sharp. I also carry the Pentax 50-135 f2.8 and Pentax 10-17. I also sometimes include a Pentax 35mm f2.8 macro. I usually have a tripod and strobe but don't use either as much as I would anticipate.Feedback
Although patience is one of the obvious requirements of a photographer in this case a quick responce to the moment was an important factor . I am constantly pre-empting the situation and changing settings in advance - just in case because when the moment happens there isn't time to think about it.
