This is a mosaic of many moon shots. Details was taken with a special monochromatic camera, it's a mosaic of 3x50 frames. Colors was taken with two reflex cameras in two different moments. Colors on the Moon are dominantly controlled by variations in iron and titanium content. With multiple saturation boost operations we can see this colors. Blue is titanium and red is iron.

This is very well down. Nice work! May I ask please, what kind of lens you used on the monochromatic, and the other camera? I am new to photography and appreciate learning from people here at View Bug.

The detail and the color of this is awesome. If you don't mind can you give me the info? (camera, lens, f/stop, shutter speed, ISO and any other secrets) One of the best for sure.

Excellent, excellent, excellent colours in this shot. Sunlight in the vacuum of space has a way of washing out most of the moon's natural colours to a white or silvery appearance. Years ago, the Hubble took a shot of the moon to capture its natural colours and produced something very similar to this.
This is fantastic. What on earth did you do?

I love this photo, absolutely beautiful. I have just started shooting the stars, and love it. Last week I bought myself a telescope that has the capability of me connecting my camera to it, very excited. Love your photography!!!!
