I loved the peacefulness of the scene...picturing boats seeking safety in the harbour from the Atlantic Ocean. I found the textures in the image very appealing.Editing
I processed this image first in Lightroom to colour correct and sharpen a bit and the made the colour adjustments you see on the image using FX Photo StudioIn my camera bag
While I have a selection of lenses from a Sigma 20mm Art lens to a Sigma 100-400mm 1:5-6.3 DG zoom to an older but faithful Sigma 105mm 1:2.8 DG Macro to my faithful AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm 1.4G ED lens, I tend nowadays to bring only with me what I need. In other pockets of my camera bag you will find my trusty SB910 flash with a supply of AA’s, a couple of spare camera batteries, lens cloth and a small notebook and pencilFeedback
Being near the Pacific, Peggy’s Cove is noted for extreme waves and stormy weather. Check the forecast before you head out and be prepared. You can expect everything from the calm seas to amazing waves crashing against the boulders that protect the harbour
