On the Horizon rests St. Croix, as seen from Culebra, Puerto Rico. However, it is rarely seen as the island is 50 miles away. Only on extremely clear days can anyone ever see it. Even if one happens to see it, its only for a few moments -then its gone again. St. Croix, Culebras' Big Brother. Click on the foto for a better view, really only looks good on a computer or big screen......The foto itself was taken from an elevation of 551 feet which is why you can see more than one normally would of St. Croix at sea level.
