Behind The Lens

Location

In my studio in Phuket, not the one I currently use as it's been couple of months that I have changed location.

Time

Afternoon, I remember going to pick the model up around 2pm and then heading to my studio, after some make up and light set up we started shooting, this image was at the beginning of our session so it must have been around 3:30pm

Lighting

One godox 360 on boom stand pointing straight down onto the model, probably at 1/16th of power

Equipment

Canon 5D mklll, 24-105mm, hand held, trigger and receiver

Inspiration

I'm always experimenting and trying different techniques or use of lights and modifiers, that was one of my first attempts with that kind of light set up...

Editing

Usual workflow in LR (exposure, contrast, sharpness...) minor skin retouch in PS

In my camera bag

Canon 5D mklll, 24-105, 50, 40, 70-200, trigger, receivers, nd filters, lights, modifiers...

Feedback

Light set up is quite simple, my advice is to always be curious and try different approaches. Find some work that inspires you, study it, understand it an try to reproduce it with your own personal twist
