I just wanted to take a moment to say that I absolutely love this photo. While I chose another as the winner of the "Portraits on Location" challenge, this one was the first runner up in a very tough choice.

Behind The Lens

Location
Phuket, Thailand

around 5:30pm
Lighting
I tried to balance ambient light with a strobe in a modifier (octa)
Equipment
Canon 5D MkIII 24-105mm trigger and receiver, godox 360 on a light stand in a octa softbox
Inspiration
my go to model is also a talented fire performer and so we decided to head to a "secret" beach to finalise this "fire enchantress" concept
Editing
usual workflow in LR (exposure, contrast, highlights...) minor shin retouch in PS
In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mk IV, 24-105mm, 40mm, 50mm, 100mm, 70-200mm, tripod, strobes, light stands, modifiers (umbrella, softbox, octa...) ND filters
Feedback
My strongest advice is to use a well trained fire performer and have one if not 2 safety supervisors close by with fire estinguishers, fire blankets, and any other fire counter measure as dealing with such a temperamental element as fire, there's always a chance to run into some troubles
