Its the White breasted. I am sorry cannot find my field book at the moment to get the scientific name. Its about 6 inches.

Brilliant image, I have spent several weeks chasing a kingfisher and they are so quick ... Still trying to get up close... This image is so detailed, great work.

Thanks. I was lucky. Also a small trick, they usually come to the same branch after their sorties. So i focus on that and wait patiently for it to return. If really lucky it will have a fish in beak.
