Hi Steve
I like the lighting in this shot. It creates more areas of shade and tone, which adds interest. Can I suggest with your arrangements that you might try moving your elements in closer together, reducing the space between them. I like the shadow produced by the flower which is slightly in front of the tallest wooden spoon. You could try bringing the container of implements much closer to the container of grapes, even to the point of obscring some of it by the grapes. Some of the implements would then be behind the flowers. You would then probably move the fruit in closer also and the pear could also be partly obscured by the grapes. The fruit could all be moved closer together and perhaps add a few more pieces. Maybe give the fruit a kind of 'Spilled Appearance' by placing them at interesting angles and maybe having one or two further away from the others. You could experiment with actually spilling the fruit to see what transpires. I like the way you have the pitcher placed, although seeing just a hint more of its exposed side might be nice. The grapes are placed nicely and look great. I like the colours in this shot. They work really well, as does the black backdrop. Its a nice image.
