Thank you Joey! That was the only reason I took that photo. The rest of the vineyard was looking kinda drab because the frost had come through and the leaves were looking rough but they left some grapes on the vines for the ice wine that they make so when I saw them I noticed how much they stood out and thought that might actually make the photo okay. I figured eh why not give it a try and the end result was what I was hoping for so I was pretty pleased. And the ice wine is pretty good too! LOL!

Thank you for the compliment Kazza60! I agree you should have the wine! LOL! The ice wine from Newport Vineyards is simply amazing! I went to pick some up and decided to wander around and see if the vineyards had anything to photograph since it was November and the frost had done a number on the leaves and then I saw some of the grapes left on the vines for the ice wine and said oh lets see how that works and the grapes really popped out from all that drabbness of the leaves. I love when it works out like I plan. LOL! Have a great day! LeeAnn :)

Oh you should most definitely give that ice wine a try my friend. :) I love visiting Rhody especially the Vineyard and Misquamicut. For a small state it definitely has LOTS of photo ops!
