This was a tricky capture to say the least! LOL! I was nature watching in Rhode Island and spotted this Great Egret in one of the salt marshes on the side of the road. I then had to find a spot to pull over enough to not cause a problem (It was a narrow street) I jumped out of the car and the egret was contemplating flying away as I raised my camera and I decided I needed to step into the marsh to get the best photo and that meant soggy and squishy sneakers for a few hours LOL! It was all worth it though these birds are so beautiful! Hopefully you got a laugh from my adventures! :)
