Location
Several years ago, I had a travel to Malaysia. I spent a day in Sprawling open-concept zoological park.Time
I spent a whole day at the zoological park and it was almost the late afternoon when I got to a pond and saw this tiger resting there.Lighting
The lighting was very awful. And the subject was too far and I had to use my Nikkor 18-200mm on 200 to capture a close shot.Equipment
I believe I had a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm. I didn't have a tripod and I used a slow shutter speed because of low lighting in the late afternoon.Inspiration
The calmness of the tiger and his deep eyes.Editing
I processed the image in Lightroom. I made some cropping and correcting the colors. In my camera bag
It depends on my assignment. But usually, I carry my Nikon D4s and Nikkor 24-70 most of the times.Feedback
Never try to take an image in a zoo in the late afternoon. You'll get disappointed later on.
