in share a technique I would like to share is long exposure .. this was taken early morning at sunrise on the inlet overlooking Fraser Island the long exposure produced the silky water and streams of cloud .. I set up my tripod with my canon 1100 D and an 18 - 55 mm lens .. I added a circular ND Fadder to control the light . I also used a cable shutter release .. settings were f 22.. to reduce light, ISO 100, and the ND Fader at max allowing the use of the shutter on bulb for 45 secs .

Love this the serenity of the scene is wonderful and the colour created by the early morning sun excellent. My problem would be getting up that early LOL
