Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at a friends house. It is one of most favorite photos, mainly because my sweet friend has since passed.

Time

This was taken in the evening. I used to go and hang out with my friend so her husband (who was her care provider) could go to choir practice.

Lighting

It was a beautiful day out and the sun was in the western sky while an hour or two from setting.

Equipment

I shot this with my Nikon.

Inspiration

My friend introduced me to zinnias and the butterfly has been a symbol of my own healing.

Editing

I did not do any post processing. When I am shooting nature shots I hope to never need to edit.

In my camera bag

I carry my camera, a tripod, and my 300 zoom. (I hope to eventually upgrade).

Feedback

Be patient with your subject and yourself. Have fun and enjoy the process.
