This image was taken around 12:50 am. It was a nice time to get a clean shot as there were few people to spoil the picture..Lighting
I have been there plenty of times, and always get captivated by the beautiful contrast between the structure and the lighting. I do believe that is not only nice to enjoy, but also soothing, relaxing. The whole environment is designed to offer a relaxing experience to visitors.Equipment
I used my Canon Rebel T5i,Canon EFS 18-135mm f3.5- 5.6 IS. No flash. Focal lenght 22mm, and the aperture set to F22.0.And an ISO of 800. Exposure time 13 seconds.Inspiration
I love the way the structure flows and waves around a beautiful dual man made lake. This setting is heading in a down slope that takes it to be at a lower elevation that the lake on the left side.Editing
Did some fine adjustment in Adobe Photoshop LightRoom and DX Optics Pro 10. Some sharpness and and lighting balance as well.In my camera bag
I usually carry my Canon 60D, Rebel T5i as a back up. EF-S 24mm,EF 35mm F1.4, EF-S18-55mm, EF-S18-135mm, EF 70-300IS, EF 85mm, EF 50mm 1.8. One tripod and remote wire.Feedback
This shot did not come out like this with only one try. Plan your session and be on time, before time so you can capture a transition of the lighting from twilight to dark. I spent a few hours taking lots of shots from different angles. Be persistent and if you have to, try different times of the day or night until you get the image you envisioned. Make sure you accentuate those details that catch you eye and convey them to the observer. Trust me it is worth it.
