Took this very early morning 730 am it was a light mist of rain that morning, very foggy and lots of dark clouds hanging very low in the sky.Lighting
This was taken with natural lighting no flash was used. It was a very cloudy and foggy morning just enough good light.Equipment
The camera I own and used for this image Canon 5D Mark111 and lens used was a Canon EF 24-105mm /4L IS USM. no tripod and no flash used.Inspiration
I went to the beach early that morning just to look around and take some pictures when I walked up on the walkway and saw this beautiful, awesome dark cloud and the waves coming in no one else on the beach except myself and this wondrous beauty who could resist taking a picture of this.Editing
I took the walkway to the beach photo which was in color I changed to B&W this picture was taken on Jacksonville Beach, Florida. I left that beach and drove to Saint Augustine and got the ocean and sky photo I also changed that to B&W . I used the Saint Augustine Beach image as the overlay on the Jacksonville Beach image. I was very pleased with the results it was the first time I had ever used an overlay effect. The program I used was picmonkey.In my camera bag
I use and own the Canon 5D Mark111 and a Nikon D810. I usually have at least two extra SD cards, my battery's are always on full charge. I have my best lens on board I use a Canon EF 70-200mm 2.8L IS USM and on my Nikon I use the AF-S 70-200mm 2.8 ED VR11 and a AF-S 24-70mm 2.8 ED VR I consider these the best.Feedback
Go early in the morning or late evening to capture your best shots. I like taking pictures before a thunderstorm or right after that's when you can get your best shots. Be creative don't be afraid to create and express yourself through photography. Do what makes you happy and share it with others. I hope one day to take that million dollar shot and become famous. Dream Big!
