Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on my parents farm. He walked around freely and this is him in the driveway showing off.

Time

It was in the afternoon sometime.

Lighting

The lighting is all natural light.

Equipment

This is taken from my Canon Rebel and used my kit lens.

Inspiration

I've been waiting for him to open up his feathers to show off so my Mom brought one of her chickens over and he immediately opened up! I love the vibrant blue colors and always wanted to take a picture of a peacock up close.

Editing

I added some clarity and adjusted the exposure.

In my camera bag

I now have a Canon Rebel and a Sony A7. I always have a zoom lens and my nifty 50mm with me.

Feedback

Go to a local farm that has a peacock and ask if you can take some pictures of it. They love to show off and they're not aggressive so they would probably love to get a picture taken.
