Great Sky, focus point and vanishing points and a sunset. Wish the truck was more of the dominant object in my challenge not the sedan however my eyes kept coming back to your image.Well done

Thanks Dave, I agree re the challenge and honestly didn't consider how dominant the car was when I put the entry in, I actually have a better "truck" one that I will put in my gallery for your next challenge lol. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Michael

Behind The Lens

Location

The location is the "Old Andado Station" just north of the South Australia / Northern Territory border. The property was owned by Molly Clark and it stands today exactly as it was when she walked out 20 odd years ago, it still has the wardrobes full of Molly's clothes!

Time

Dawn on a beautiful desert winters day

Lighting

Pretty well natural light with a few highights bought up half a stop or so in Lightroom, grad filter in lightroom also

Equipment

A Nikon 800e with a nikon 14-28 f2.8, a truly beautiful lens!

Inspiration

Out there in the desert you come across more wrecks than you would think, I just loved the 2 of these together, class and business. You don't often come across old British Limmo's out there however.

Editing

Lightroom, as said few highlights accented with a half stop + and a grad filter.

In my camera bag

My Nikon and the 14-28, 85 prime, 28-300, 80-200 and the usual ancillaries

Feedback

I have said before here probably the most important thing is to post process but analyze your metadata, see technically why you like one image over another
