Behind The Lens

Location

At home, in an "improvised studio"...

Time

In the afternoon...

Lighting

I used numerous very different light sources... Those whom we can find in an apartment but who, added, allow to have a lighting worthy of the name !

Equipment

I used my old Canon 1000D with a 18-55 lens. No more photo equipement...

Inspiration

I always compared my guitars (I have 8 of it) to women, partners... It would be too long to explain why but... form it even of a guitar look like a little the pond and the waist of a woman... and then I had the idea of taking this photo...

Editing

Just a little bit more contrast in photoshop... And a little bit of brightness in lightroom... No more !

In my camera bag

I've got a Canon 5D Mark III & a Canon 7D and various lenses : A Canon 50mm f/1.4, a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM II, a Sigma 24-105 ART f/4, a Tokina 16-28 f/2.8; a Lensbaby Composer Pro f/2, old lenses & some coloured filters too...

Feedback

It's just necessary to be capable of "moving closer to the forms" in its spirit and to find the way to associate them, in a sense... Then, the rest, it's the lighting but this one is also made according to the place and of moment... I think...
