Location
This is Brandywine Falls, located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park between Akron and Cleveland, Ohio. It is the biggest draw in the park for visitors.Time
This image was taken late afternoon, around 4.Lighting
This image was taken late spring, the lighting is natural daylightEquipment
I used a Canon T5 set at an exposure of 1.6 seconds, ND8 filter, tripod, wireless shutter release.Inspiration
I simply love waterfalls. I find them relaxing, soothing. This is the tallest waterfalls in Northern OhioEditing
I used lightroom 5 to bring out the highlights. I always shoot in RAW format so it is a needed step, plus RAW always captures so much more detail. In my camera bag
At the time this image was taken I carried my Canon T5, 18-55 lens, 75-300 lens. Multiple filters. Lens cleaning kit, remote wireless shutter release and tripod. The collection has grown and the T5 has been handed down to my daughter, new camera and lenses including bag!Feedback
The best advise I could give would be to breathe, relax and take your time. Take multiple shots and try different settings, but taking your time is the most important part IMO.
